I think you may have missed my point. Sorry if it seemed I was engaging in semantics.

There will always be bad faith people who try to distract from an issue with semantics (on almost any issue, not just Gaza).

I have zero interest in discussing the terminology (where clarity does have value, just not here on Mastodon with me).

I was trying to suggest we get the focus back on the acts, many if which meet the well defined criminal definition of "war crime".
