the context to all of this is that Massie was elected as part of the original wave of Trump’s MAGA congresscritters. Massie and Marjorie Taylor-Green ran on similar QAnon inspired platforms, promising to release the Epstein Files (that, they believed at the time, exonerated Trump), and draining the swamp of Democratic party pedophiles.
MJG left congress earlier this year. Massie lost the primary and will leave congress after his term ends in December.
as @emptywheel said just a couple of weeks ago, "Tom Massie is a lot of things, some good, some bad. But he’s a pretty good parliamentarian."
