More scientific research is published now than at any previous point in history, and yet the majority of it never makes its way to the general public. This is only getting worse now that the billionaires have completely taken over legacy media. @briefecology is an attempt to improve this situation, by focusing on recent ecological research and exploring how to improve nature-society relations.
@benlockwood What fraction of what's out there do you think *should* make its way to the public? Has our font of reliable knowledge, on a societal level, kept pace with the increase in publications?
