Wishing people out side of accident investigation folks understood the swiss cheese model.
I grew up watching Aircrash Investigations, I love the NTSB reports, what went wrong and how to prevent it in future, shout out to Plainly Difficult youtube channel too.
Masking for covid is another slice of cheese, rotated for extra measure.
@LottieVixen Matt Parker's book Humble Pi goes over the Swiss Cheese model a bit. I use it in IT administration. Also in some games... :-)

Also Mentour Pilot mentions it a lot. I've found several of the aviation-safety ideas he talks about to be useful in other contexts.
