I think, all things considered, that I am somewhat put out by the lack of respect for truth that we see so much of at this juncture. As much as the desire for truth has been abused by some pretty shitty people of late... it really *does* matter whether someone is lying or not, and we shouldn't shove it under the carpet because it makes *us* feel good
