Almost every hobbyist programming community I've participated in has been ruined by the advent of LLMs. By which I mean "people who used to happily collaborate in a group of people united by passion splitting themselves into two warring camps, not a single day passing by where this discourse doesn't flare up somewhere, in whichever direction".

That kind of sucks. It has hurt my motivation to write code after hours. After Fabric, I swore to simply give up hobbies which make me feel more stress than joy; but what happens when that's all the hobbies I've had, everywhere, all at once? I'm back to using meditation techniques to keep my cortisol somewhat under control, I guess.
