@decryption curious to know what the DA/services hookup etc. would actually cost. I'm sure the local council and friends need their pound of flesh
@oxy some sort of foundation for it (can’t just plonk it on the bare dirt) would be the main cost I reckon
@decryption biggest issue with these is the eps panels. a lot of insurers will say no to that

@jpm can get land in Ballarat for under $200k easily - pretty affordable considering the current environment
@decryption I'd probably go for something like that if/when I move back to Australia. I'll probably end up back in Dubbo, would just need to find some land.
