@EUCommission And remember the French crisis (not long ago), when we suddenly had no more #Moutarde de Dijon in our shops! Why? #Canada had a drought and couldn't harvest enough #mustard seeds.
And so the French learnt that even locally protected European products need Canada!
Long years before, French farmers had stopped to plant mustard because they couldn't get enough money for it.
Connected in #climateCrisis ... couldn't we fight it together?!?

Greater cooperation with Canada: all in favor.
But please don't erode the fragile European identity in the process. Canada will never join the EU and neither us, nor them, should want or promote that idea. It's simply not doable nor desirable.
