Last week someone dumped a TV on our street. Some kids smashed it up. Then later someone dumped a whole sofa on the street. 🛋️ 📺
I sent a message to the local council to have it removed and they removed it the next day. Yesterday. ✨
Last night, as we all slept, someone has left three dining chairs in the same spot. 😭
Who are these people that think it’s okay just to fly tip and dump their trash on the street?! I have to look at it every time I look out of the window. 😩
@matt got instant flashbacks to when I lived in Boston. It was very much expected that, if usable and no longer wanted, furniture and other things should just be left on the streets for others to take. Not sure if it was about sharing or laziness tbh. Probably a bit of both.
I always found it odd. If there is anything unwanted, it will just turn into littering.
