The fact the new Gemini models haven't even shown up on the Hacker News fronpage is enough as an alone-standing fact. They release to often and it's not worth talking about. Their model introductions feel mandatory rather than like something genuinely new worth talking of. I would like to see longer release cadences again.
Edit: Not to downplay that they have a great life mode now apparently.
