federation stuff is nice and all, but there's not much point if my photos continue to look like they were uploaded via potato. it's been 1.5+ years...
(at least it uploaded cleanly this time, without the pixeled junk??? overlay from the last two attempts. still not the right colors, tho.)

We're currently have a lot of debate around the image processing flow.
I've recently moved to using Vips to progress, and I want to investigate both AVIF and HDR which includes gainmaps and other colour based features that will hopefully not eat your work.
This will require testing and slow improvements.
