@Edent This is a great post, and I love Rogue Scholar! Martin Fenner is a great guy.
This is tangential but related to metadata, and I am very sorry because I cannot check your site's source to see whether you have already done this as I am just on my phone lying in a hospital bed on oxygen, but I had great trouble getting Zotero to recognise the item type as a 'blog post'.
I eventually found this via the poorly documented zotero:itemType property. https://eve.gd/2026/06/23/making-blog-posts-harvestable-by-zotero-and-preserving-case-in-citation-fields/
As I say, I am very sorry if you already know this, and have discovered and implemented it. But while you are working on metadata-type things, I could not help but point this out, although I would rather have been able to check your site first before I tried to teach Grandmother to suck eggs, or something!
