@Em0nM4stodon I don't wear a smartwatch. In fact, I stopped wearing a regular watch after getting my first mobile phone around the turn of the millennium since the phone had a system clock, making the watch redundant.

And I feel so much better without constantly wearing that piece of equipment on my wrist, and I do like wearing bracelets every now and then, but I think the wristwatch had always been a step in the wrong direction after the pocket watch. If you're worried about the time so much that you always need to have it on your wrist, that you cannot take the additional second it takes to take your chronometer out of your pocket, something has gone wrong in your life.

I live in a surveillance city. Family members leave their corporate spyware on. At the library I use Windows 11.

@Em0nM4stodon The best internet solution, as well as mobile and landline telephone networks. Go back to paper letters delivered by a messenger.

@Em0nM4stodon I'm gonna drop them an email. I honestly beg them not to do this. I think it's a huge, enormous mistake. Btw they do actually read and listen to emails. When people kicked off about the on-device CSAM scanning stuff, they did change direction on it.
