I need help from men who are shorter than 5'4". Where do you find coats that keep you warm and dry and don't look ridiculous on you? Are there particular styles that work better?
Kids section is not an option because I am too wide.
Please boost so someone else short and male might see it.
@WizardOfDocs I love them, but unfortunately long coats seem to give me the biggest problems with other people's unsolicited opinions. Kind of feels like a conspiracy to make me soggy, because umbrellas aren't allowed either. People walking too close might get poked in the face
@kittyboy77 definitely feel you on the soggy conspiracy front. My biggest problem with switching to men's coats is that they still expect you to wear a hat with them, so I can't just put a hood up over my headphones, I have to choose between headphones and hat.

@kittyboy77 unfortunately, my last two really good coats have been thrifted/hand-me-downs
that said, I *can* recommend greatcoats and/or trenchcoats, because they're already supposed to be long
