Excuse me wHAT, you need PLANNING PERMISSION to install SHUTTERS in the UK??????

Just signed this as we would love to have shutters on our house - also they would look amazing.
Petition: Remove the need for planning permission for external shutters on properties
If residential properties could install wooden external shutters covering windows and doors, without planning permission, it would remove the need for expensive aircon units, cooling houses in heat waves but also help warm houses in the winter.
