I was making a statement about how Talarico was acting. He was the one pushing people out of the tent.
This whole thing just reminds me of how demotivating the response was to Harris not allowing any Pro-Trans or Pro-Palestine voices to speak at the convention. It's not clear to me that Democrats are actually pro-trans rights, they aren't anti-trans, buy they don't really care overall. Maybe they should fix that to help us understand.

Interestingly, Talarico voted against trans sport restrictions in the Texas House. And his issues page commits to "defend our LGBTQ+ neighbors from government overreach"
Those got no traction, but one exchange on Fox ...and we all hear about it.
I hope the widest number of people work together to help him flip the seat - and remind him who put him there.
He said, "I oppose trans athletes playing in girls’ sports if it endangers safety or fairness."
That is not worth hearing about?

Would you agree that those are more important and indicative than a gotta clip from a rightwing propaganda site?
We need to flip this Senate seat. Let's work together to do that, which will remind him not to wobble.

Yeah, not allowing any Palestinian discussion at the 2024 convention was a massive mistake.
I wish Dems quit trying to avoid giving the corporate media culture war items to beat them with - and more bravely fought on principle. Palestine and trans rights are simple human rights issues.
But we also need to understand there is a huge media machine that will smear Dems, whatever they say.
