In the summer I’m really not tempted to take outdoor breaks at the office, but today was gloriously cool, jacket weather in the morning, and still nice and breezy this afternoon. So I walked around and saw some cool stuff. This northern paper wasp has such lovely markings. To my eyes, it looked like that whole broad stripe was bronze, but zooming in, I see it’s just a small splotch of yellow and bronze.
