@tante Comparing the posts here in the Fediverse against the ones on the blog – these are worlds apart.
I love this community all the more for it. 
you can think dhh is an asshole without calling him a fascist.
if every edgy, manipulative tech guy is a fascist, the word stops meaning anything. these days it feels like anyone to the right of you gets that label.
my grandparents saw fascism firsthand in russia. it was not this.

@tante It’s a good text but I feel there still are pieces missing. I really believe it’s about entrenching AI culture in the FLOSS world and educating Linux newbies to expect deep AI integration as much as it is about fascism. The AI story is how DHH must get half of his foundation donors.

@tante after reading i can properly say this article is so useless it's not even funny.
While the criticism are valid, the only "remedies" i see won't work.
because, i hate the guy and i freaking hate the distro and even more this money centralization that is a call to some of it to "disappear in some pocket"
but the tool to built your own distro easily they proposed will be used and massively.
So instead of crying fire wile pointing finger at the fire and say we need to invest in firefighter.
why not think a bit more and propose a real solution or propose on how to organise to find one solution ?

Weil die Webseite "it's foss" nicht aufhörte es anzupreisen, hatte ich auf den Zusammenhang hingewiesen. Das interessiert dort niemanden, viel mehr wird die rassistische Verbindung mit "es gäbe Bedenken" heruntergespielt. Für indische Betreiber eine bedenkliche Haltung.
Vielleicht benötigen sie einen kräftigeren Anstoß als ich ihn liefern kann?
Bei mir sind sie daraufhin aus dem RSS-Feed geflogen.

I actually thought the idea interesting and was going to look into it more to see what I could learn to make my own--because why follow someone else's opinions, but the idea of customizing your system for your workflow is "fucking cool".
But there's no good reason for it to be getting this kind of money and attention EXCEPT for yeah, this. I posted it before: I'm reminded of Bushemi and , "Heya fellow kids!" That's DHH apparently.
