Crap, the tilt limiter cam on my ancient Aeron chair has broken, and I've not been able to find an existing design for a printable replacement. Might have to finally learn @freecad, although it'll be difficult in my very *very* reclined position.

surely a CMM service exists, you mail them the part, the run it thru the CMM and mail back the part and the file ?

@Floppy @freecad if all else fails, I’d recommend checking out Sihoo chairs which are significantly cheaper. They won’t be quite as good as your current chair, but I’m very happy with mine.

@Floppy @amcewen @freecad Ah yeas that has quite a bit to be done! Maybe a bit much for a "quick" video.
General part design and sketching approaches will get you most of the way here and then for the gear I'd explore adding the FreeCAD Gears Addon workbench.
