Because this litigation is confusing, quick recap on where things stand as of this thread. Federal District Court Judge Indira Talwani issued a preliminary injunction against Trump/USPS measures going into effect. 1/ #LawFedi
Before the 1st Circuit could rule, Trump/USPS appealed the injunction to the Roberts Court, which now has all the parties’ briefs, as well as the 1st Circuit ruling from today. A rush like this to the Supreme Court is, ordinarily, very weird, but bc of the election’s imminence (indeed it has now begun) and Trump’s hope the Robert Six will side with him, it is typical of how things go now. 2/
