As your contribution from an Australian today, I propose those satellite lines be formally referred to herewith as "billionaire skid marks".
Heyyyyyy these were just barely naked-eye visible, and only for a couple minutes. But I got some auroras! Thanks, universe.
(Also a shit ton of satellites, as always. But the Milky Way and the Andromeda Galaxy are still there, behind all the billionaire streaks)

@sundogplanets Maybe investigating, trying and convicting; then incarcerating billionaire's pet CEO'$ should be a past time, rather than being enticed by mainstream media and creature comforts afforded by fossil fools - should be the next common person's pastime over sports and 'reality' television? 🤔 Let's get creative with antithesis-to-fascism-solutions in real time?

We live near Tamworth in NSW, Australia. This is as far from aurora generating country as you can get.
But...
In November, last year, there was a massive solar storm that delivered for us. You barely see this with the naked eye but the camera brought the colour out.
Achievement unlocked. But really would like to see a better aurora one day.
