#WritersCoffeeClub 9 Sept. What's your standard operating font, size, format? Or do you not have a standard?
That's the publisher's job; I format my text on screen using styles, in whatever font/size/zoom level doesn't make my eyes bleed, then reset the style to standard manuscript format before submitting.
@lachlan You know both neovim and pandoc projects are now accepting AI PRs? Enshittification is underway. (vim-classic is safe; I don't know of an LLM-free fork of pandoc.)
@cstross I'd prefer they weren't - but I can't fight on every front at once. I'm just tired, you know?
I'm curious about helix as a vim replacement - but, I'm not quite seeing the chance to get the kind of flow I have with classic vim/vimscript as I do with neovim/lua.
Pandoc is a bit of a real bummer, because I struggle to see any alternative at all.

@cstross Neovim in console in md, then pandoc to Manuscript format.
Advantage is that I can get some real funky tools working that work perfectly for me (such as optional syllable counts and word counts that exclude illustrator notes) and can use my software engineering trained navigation/restructuring/version control etc
