Related to accessible gaming, it definitely bothers me a little how overloaded the term “accessible” is, especially in blindness spaces. “Accessible gaming” does not solely mean “blind accessible”, yet the Accessible Gaming wiki is basically blind central. Blind people have dramatically different needs, and “accessible” means many different things. There’s a whole hodgepodge of other disabilities that fall under needing accessibility, but many in the blindness community seem to just equate accessible with “works with screen readers”. I understand using the terminology in everyday conversation but declaring a game “accessible” is a lot more loaded than you might think.
