Our requirements for people making contributions using AI coding assistants are significantly stricter than that. We require people to have a full understanding of the code beyond reviewing it. AI generated parts should have been cleaned up or rewritten in advance. It shouldn't look like they used it and needs to meet our high standards. We'll usually just ignore AI generated PRs.

@kimcrawley @malwaretech We've received a bunch of pull requests from people submitting AI generated fixes for AI discovered issues. Many of those were valid issues but the pull requests didn't meet our standards and we didn't have much luck getting most improved to be good enough via code review. We solved that by rewriting the ones which mattered and ignoring the rest.

We need to avoid issues which can be found by other using AI models. New code is passed through one to find stuff we missed.
