Meta removed one of my comics from Instagram due to ‘copyright infringement’. It doesn’t tell me what copyright, only some weird hotmail email address I can email of the person who struck me. Tell me what copyright this comic infringes?
Review requested. Anyone have any experience with something similar?

I'm here because tumblr pulled something similar to me. I've read many folk who suffered the same treatment from the abusive media companies, but I guess it pales to what they allow and encourage.

@heyheymomo under the DMCA or equivalent laws in other countries, anyone can submit a copyright claim on anything, and as long as they do so in the right format, the platform is legally obliged to take it down until you submit a counterclaim. It's stupid and wrong, and easy to abuse, but we fought that battle 20 years ago and lost. If anything, it's amazing this sort of thing doesn't happen more often.
