when i was 11 or 12 i was at a church youth event and they played a video for us with some guys saying "so the gospel of Mark was written around 60 AD, Matthew was written around 80 AD, John was written around 110 AD, and Luke was written around 140 AD, so we know he was still kickin' it at least past age 130" (I'm making up those dates, but it was something like that)

and in my head I'm going "am I the only one here who thinks that's sus?" ... went home and said to my mom "hey sooo... I'm having some doubts about this jesus stuff", and she goes "oh yeah, it's all bullshit, we just let you go to that stuff because the rest of the family is really into it. you don't have to go if you don't want to anymore." and that was the last time i went to church
