In preparation for this fall term, with a deep sigh, I have found it necessary to more actively build anti-genAI measures into my graduate classes, including, with much reluctance, brief "interim oral reviews". I hope (most of) these 10-minute chats will be nice and good conversations ... but I would prefer spending my energy in 2026 on things other than keeping toxic #AIslop out at bay.

A Note on LLMs : First, this course is for you. The assignments are designed to ask for your voice, your thoughts, and your reflections. I have absolutely no interest in your LLMs’ text.
