Household cat deprivation update: Dad has joined me in trying to befriend the big grey neighbour cat, who still turns tail whenever approached but accepts tributes of Dreamies.*
*presumably; they might have been snarfed by another cat, squirrel, fox, hedgehog, etc. I am aware it's inadvisable to feed other people's cats.

Obviously you must feed other peoples' cats if they meow, they're utterly trustworthy.
