@xerz @woozle @navi @spritely Well additionally, you'll probably hear me throw around at events that the plan was to have general backends that supported many media types, and frontends which could be specialized for particular "views" of them, but many would even be general and support a wide array of media, which was the direction things were heading in the G+ days
