Hey Lazyweb, I assume Autodesk have completely enshittified Fusion so you absolutely must buy it to keep using it now?

@jpm I swore it off years ago. I want my designs to not be at risk of being held ransom for an arbitrary amount at any point in the future. Nor do I want to risk features suddenly going behind a paid version. Nope.

@jpm TIL that Eagle has been retired.
Further hint -- set projects to read-only once you are "done" with them to make more room in the max 10 project limit.
You can take any project in and out of read-only mode as much as you like as well.
It seems somewhat of an oversight.... but uh, I am not complaining.
I am both a big fan of personal use edition, but also frustrated with some of the bugs as well. Especially bugs in closure of shapes.
@jpm my friend who still uses Fusion is able to keep getting recreational use licenses, but at this stage I’m trying to get her onto FreeCAD just in case
