You are still valuable if you couldn't make it to the demo.
You are still valuable if you can't afford to give money to the cause.
You are still valuable if you need others to care for you.
You are still valuable if you aren't brave enough to risk arrest.
You are still valuable if your lack of documentation means you can't associate with activists.
Your value as a human does not depend on what you can give to the cause.
@passenger and also, and this is not a criticism of your excellent post but an addition to it, there are many reasons people may not want to risk arrest including being a caregiver for someone who depends on them, being an ethnicity more likely to experience police brutality, lacking legal immigration status or not wanting to draw police attention to a family unit where someone else lacks legal immigration status.
