uhhh not to alarm anyone but there have been about 15 v small earthquakes in Inglewood and Lennox in the past five hours 😬 (not all are listed here, I saw on LA Quakebot). i hope this fault is just having minor jitters

an update: there have been at least 60 small quakes since yesterday evening (via LA Quakebot). i'm not an expert but the odds that something bigger could happen are definitely up right now
for non-Angelenos: this is not the huge, famous San Andreas fault, but a *lot* of people live on this one, and it also connects to the Rose Canyon fault in San Diego according to newer research. so: 👀

in showing a household member where a couple of of the little quakes were, i found that if one searches Willowbrook (an unincorporated patch of LA County) on Google Maps (yes, I know...), a picture of this tortoise comes up?! perhaps a locally famous personage
