I've seen a lot of #1Password chatter that is essentially "use this fork of a fork of a Linux app made by three people in their spare time" and I totally would if I only had to take care of myself, but I have family with a huge range of technical prowess and tolerance for this kind of thing, and also younger children.

What is the best alternative to 1Password that works across platforms, isn't a gigantic technical burden, and won't have to be replaced in two months when the developers ghost? 😓
