One of the problems with being very "outcome oriented" is that most improvement on teams and systems comes from looking at the process/inputs (along with a model of how they relate to outcomes as a *whole*)
If you base your beliefs on what makes a good X on which X has the best outcomes you're mostly going to be making decisions based on random chance
