My mother was a prepper before it was cool. I suppose it was growing up as an only child of parents who experienced the Blitz.
Since moving into this house with space to store more things, we've got enough food to last us a while, but the water angle is an important one (see previous boost)
@dajb my mum was a child during WW2, and we also lived in a remote hamlet in N Derbyshire so we always had plenty of food in the store cupboards. I've definitely inherited that outlook even though we live close to a huge supermarket. And we do also have a store of carbonated water made with our soda stream.
@nomadwarmachine The latter is obviously the most important 😉
