The Trump regime routinely ignores and/or breaks laws it doesn't care for. Republicans in Congress routinely approve of the lawbreaking. Judges often say no, but don't enforce their rulings. The founders assumed a populace that would jealously guard their standing and resolve...
They were wrong.
The populace became complacent, distracted, and uncaring.
As a result, we now live under a Regime of feckless spineless power-hungry career politicians engaged only in their own enrichment and continued relevance.
This is not what the founders envisioned.
