@NewsHund @kelleynnn Of all the issues with generative AI, the one that frustrates me most is entirely preventable. Even after saving hours or days of work, people can’t be arsed to even glance at the output before uncritically sharing it with others.
@mkb Exactly. And the fact that they don’t want to look at it is why they use it in the first place. Argh!
@NewsHund Just so! If we’ve got documents which are entirely AI-generated and are using AI to produce summaries, that tells me there is an awful lot of writing we never needed in the first place.
@mkb So true! I heard an ad for an AI that promised to read your company documents and write summaries for your clients. And I thought, “why does anyone need you in that process?”
