The EU’s naval force boarded its sixth Russian shadow fleet tanker, the MV SUN, on August 30th in the Mediterranean.

“Illegal oil sales from shadow fleet ships are a critical lifeline for Russia’s war in Ukraine, and we’ll continue to cut them off”, says EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs Kaja Kallas.
