This is a really good discussion about recent developments with noblogs and Autistici / Inventati: https://thefinalstrawradio.libsyn.com/the-situation-with-noblogs-a-midweek-special-featuring-sabot-media-and-crimethinc
It is not at all a criticism I would make that this incredible collective helped with publishing and internet infrastructure for thousands of users and organizations, but it is definitely worth considering the role of centralization in such a massive effort.
Because of noblogs' prolific community support, it became a target and a single point of potential failure.
We want to make domain registration, blog hosting, etc accessible but also resilient. Far harder for a fascist regime to hit 10,000 well-organized, separate targets than one bullseye representing 10,000 different ones.
