Getting so tired of folks on r/transmasc straight up posting awful transphobia there. Like I get they are commiserating and looking for support but I avoid certain places and people on purpose and I hate being exposed to it when I’m not even in those subs/communities.
r/transmasc does seem to skew younger and I never see this kinda shit in the over 30 and over 50 subs. It really feels like youthful insecurity that drives the behaviour. 20 somethings putting too much power in the opinions of assholes and then spreading it around. Might have to leave the sub, I dunno.

Also getting very fatigued with “do I pass???” posts because passing is bullshit to begin with and it just means everyone chimes in to say peircings or dyed hair make you look like a girl which is obviously not true and how people read your gender in public is a complex series of cues impossible to replicate online with a couple photos.
