"They're trying to have a CEO press a button that makes a game, and then everyone else somehow buys it without a job. So I don't see that going anywhere sustainable, and I feel like there will simply be a pop and a reckoning and then [it's on repeat] unless people do something else."

@jbz It's like the railroad bubble of the 1840's. Sure railroads were an important new technology, but speculators bid up railroads to the extent that right-of-way was being built to towns that didn't exist yet but *would* exist because of ... railroads.
Investment capitalism us subject to wild speculation that is largely governed by emotion. Margaret Thatcher and Ronald Reagan put the wild speculators in charge of our economies and we are not having these bubbles on a regular basis.

It's not the first time he voiced his opinion and so far he's been an amazing voice for the serfs of the industry. I truly hope he keeps on being amazing for years to come and I hope he and his brother live happily forever after.

If one can create a game by pushing a button, why wouldn't users just create their own game? If they can afford the hardware or tokens...
