We don't like to talk about it, but wind farms also have externalities. One of them is slowing down winds. Which, in turn, can decrease precipitation by 10–12% in coastal regions and more rain over the farms (at least around the North Sea).
We still need to switch to renewables; we just need to plan and account for these effects.
