I'm looking for Linux distro recs for an old PC and Fedi feels like the absolute best place for this lol
I've come into possession of my grandmother's old laptop, which in turn is my dad's old laptop, which broke and had its insides kinda fucked up
It's a 2010 ASUS N61J, not that it really matters cause about 10 years ago my dad managed to fry it while doing BIOS upgrade and the shop he took it to couldn't find the right parts so instead of the i7 this thing now has an i3 M350
It also has an Nvidia GeForce GT 325M, 6GB of RAM, and from my messing around in Windows 7 it's actually still a fully functional PC
So naturally, I wanna put Linux on it >:3
I want something that can, like, run on this thing, which shouldn't be That hard, but the main thing is the GPU stuff, I really want something that can support the dGPU and be able to switch to the Intel one if needed too. But it's really old and I know Linux has Issues with old Nvidia cards, and the older it is the worse it gets 💀
