Today, the @SoftwareSaved has a new name and identity (while preserving same values). They are no longer the Software Sustainability Institute, and are now the "Institute for Research Software".
I guess that means that I'm no longer a SSI Fellow, but an "Institute for Research Software Fellow"!
@ccamara IRS Fellow has a certain ring to it. 🫣
(only because the USA have such a weight in public culture - I do like the new name @SoftwareSaved)
@lavaeolus @SoftwareSaved maybe because of this, their new guidelines explicitly say not to refer to it as IRS (or other accronyms) but Inst. of research software at most
@ccamara makes sense, but sad that it's necessary...
