@EUCommission Have you seen the result of the referendum in #Iceland that resulted in a big "no" to EU, even after the drama of the Brexit? Despite all the promises and self-congratulations that will undoubtedly flow in the SOTEU, why is still so repulsive for so many people?
What I would like to see first and foremost is a renewed effort for reducing CO2 emissions across the entire continent. Drastic measures are fine, but loopholes for the worst polluters are not. We have a planet to save.

@EUCommission Money is not going to be enough to defeat Russia in Ukraine. More involvement from regular people is going to be needed.
Your webpage on #SOTEU (which you mysteriously didn't append to the post) claims that #vonderleyen 's speech will be web streamed. My questions are:
A) Where it will be streamed? Locally in a subpage of europa.eu? (if so, where?) In YouTube, PeerTube, Twitch or similar?
B) Will it be streamed live or just archived for anyone to watch after the speech?
C) If it will be livestreamed, will comments be enabled for the livestream?
D) If the possibility to comment live on the speech exists, will the comments be reacted to (in the speech itself or on the platform) or ignored like most comments on your posts in Mastodon are? (This is not a jab, it's just reality)
