How long has Omarchy been around, and why are companies throwing so much money at it? I’ve only just heard about it in the last week, and that’s only because of folks calling out companies for donating money to it. Are people actually using it?

@ramsey I think Omarchy is essentially DHH’s hobby project as he rages against Apple.
But I also think it’s landing at a time when a lot of people are particularly sick of Apple, so it’s just hitting at exactly the right moment.
So it’s got his and Basecamp’s weight behind it. (And people’s memory is short enough that it seems all the DHH controversy is forgotten.)
