The Privilege not to Rush

This code couldn’t be rushed, because it had to be right. Often we had approached the same problem a few times already, across projects, from different angles, and then at some point what you do is, you try to hold all the needs and tensions and trade-offs you’ve encountered in your head at the same time, until an implementation crystalises.
