This matches my experience running my tiny little home server. AI VC investment is just a massive, increasingly circular transfer of wealth from private investors to hardware vendors by way of the dumbest, laziest people in this industry.

I have a real website for my photography but no longer can use my analytics to see what pages people visit or if they download the monthly zine. Waves of scrapers render my stats meaningless.
I thought about trying to block obvious scrapers, but once I got into it things didn't look so obvious to me. Now that TV sets are being turned into zombie scrapers, it feels like this isn't a game I can win.
