I have now beaten the main story in No Man's Sky.
I am EXTREMELY bad at beating games all the way, but wanted to see if the main story unlocked anything for me. It did! And I actually really enjoyed the story!
10/10 I only had to force quit the game once, only game in recent memory where I beat the main story and then wanted to keep playing
@Dio9sys I have played this game since launch and will continue to do so. It's really aged well. The main story, while brief, fits well in the world of the game.

I went with the option that keeps me in Euclid (for now). I figure there's plenty of space left to explore before I decide to check out the other ones
@Dio9sys Honestly the Centre has lost a lot of importance with all the other stuff to do. I'm really loving my capital ship base and corvette. I can even do farming in hydroponics rooms!

Yeah, after I made my decision I immediately looked up what would have happened otherwise, and it seems like with recent updates they have really removed the weight from it. Still! I felt it in the moment!
I have a base on a radioactive planet, one portal and a few slabs of stone on a paradise planet, and a half-built Corvette. I figure now I can finish building the Corvette, get that all fixed up and focus on making my Corvette my center of operations while my freighter makes money for me, which I will then pour back into building up my bases.
Also I want to try more nexus missions.
