@siracusa With AppleCare One now in the UK and supposedly saving me about £13 a month if I swap, I'm wondering if you still consider it a hard avoid if I'm the only person who uses or logs in to the three devices I'd cover?
(I also buy stuff outright rather than the using the upgrade programs, which can apparently be another issue 🙃)

@True_Heresy Hard avoid if you use it for a Mac and you ever want to have multiple user accounts.

Only because I doubt that's something I'd encounter as I don't have kids and my partner uses their own stuff.
I'm also not doing any Apple-specific software development, and work uses VMs or contractually required/provided machines.
